Today was my brother-in-law’s funeral. It was quite a tribute to his meaningful life. He leaves a legacy of  3 daughters, 5 granddaughters and one grandson. He was a builder of homes and lives. He laid many foundations that will continue for many, many years to come. He made a difference in many lives. He will be missed. My heart reaches out to Delaine, his wife, and his children, Thomasa, Ponnie, and Jerilyn.

These leaves signify how his life reached out and touched oh so many other lives. In the rustling of leaves and in the beauty of autumn and the days to follow, we will always  remember him.

Jilaine and Genesis are having a little “feet to feet fun” on the front porch.

There’s something intriguing about this sky that gives me some peace today. I lost a dear brother-in-law this morning and I don’t know exactly why but this sky helps me have hope. He will be missed…

This pinecone was nestled in the grass in my front yard. I find them interesting to photograph.

Harley is six months old now and just as frisky as ever! This is a good shot of him but I still haven’t captured what is so very special about him. I will persevere though.

The Lewis-Vaughn Botanical Garden is located in Olde Town Conyers. It has plants, a fountain, and a stream with goldfish and pond bloomers. It’s a pretty little area where you can just enjoy nature in the midst of several local businesses. Look closely or choose a larger size to view to see several goldfish!

These pretty pink flowers that remind me of ribbons are blooming again! It’s so nice to have them return!
