A boy, a bike, and his dog

Published by under 365

The light was good today so I returned to get the front side of this statue. I was only able to get the back side view the last time – you can sure tell the difference in the seasons. See http://www.flickr.com/photos/anned/5156269120/in/set-72157625409608468/#/

That tripod does not scare me!

Published by under 365

The birds were flocking to the feeder today. Yesterday was gorgeous. Today is cold and rainy. I set up the tripod and remote. Many of them jumped away when they heard a click or a flash but this little fellow was not deterred!

Genesis’s Gingerbread House

Published by under 365

It was a fun day at school for Genesis.  She and her classmates each built their own gingerbread houses, Christmas trees, and gumdrop patterns. A few candy canes were added to the yummy creation!

A building of interest

Published by under 365

I really enjoy looking at others’ shots of buildings. So I’ve been noting buildings of interest when I am out and about the Atlanta area. Today was one of those days and this building caught my eye. It was across the way from my eye doctor’s site. I believe it is an office building.

Zooming around the Christmas tree

Published by under 365

It is much too cold to venture out so I had some fun today zooming in and out around the Christmas tree. I got a lot of very interesting views – none very traditional though.

The Daily Shoot: Make a photo of a pair of subjects today. People or inanimate objects are both fair game!

These salt & pepper shakers go way back and have been in my family for as long as I can remember. My mother gave them to me many years back and I know they will continue to grace our family Christmas dinners for many years to come!

Snow in Georgia!

Published by under 365

Now I know this will look pathetic to many of my northern friends but it was bitter cold today and we had a few snow flurries. It caused a lot of excitement! Nothing stuck but I ventured out on the front porch to take this shot of the steps leading down to our sidewalk.
