Now I know this will look pathetic to many of my northern friends but it was bitter cold today and we had a few snow flurries. It caused a lot of excitement! Nothing stuck but I ventured out on the front porch to take this shot of the steps leading down to our sidewalk.
I was back out to look at Christmas decorations tonight but this sunset in the coming night sky was the eye catching view. I could not resist.
One of the things I love about Georgia is that as you drive about you are almost sure to find these bursts of color throughout the year. It brightens your day!

I don’t know the name of this plant but I find it interesting to photograph. I tried to locate it on the web but no luck. I’ve seen a lot around in subdivisions and they grow quite tall.
