Leafless but not patternless

There are leaves falling everywhere in my yard except for this tree- not a single leaf left! It looked so stark against the sky. I found the patterns interesting.   They bring different images to my mind.

Weeping willow

Countryside reflections

While driving home from an anniversary party today I saw this beautiful scene and had to stop! I love the Georgia countryside – the hay, tree, woods, and clouds are all reflecting in the water! What a tranquil, peaceful scene!

An old tree

I was out today and the texture of this old tree fascinated me. I can almost visualize a sad, old face embedded on it. The tree is located within a cemetery and it has probably witnessed a lot of sad people and sad times. Many stories could be told….
